| | Here are some of my interests and hobbies. Do we have any
in common? If so, let me know and we can share thoughts and ideas.

Music - I play guitar and piano. I started
playing piano when I was 5 years old and decided to pick up the
guitar when I was about 17. I enjoy playing all types of music, but
especially enjoy Contemporary Christian. I do sing a bit, but mainly
in the shower or for myself, although I have performed a few times
and for weddings of friends.

Reading - I enjoy reading all types of
genres. I am a big fan of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles as well as
her other work. I am also reading the Left Behind Series and just
completed book number 10 called The Remnant. This series is awesome and
I highly recommend it. I am currently starting the Harry Potter
series so I'll keep you posted as to my thoughts. Who knows, maybe
I'll add a book review section to the site.

TV - OK, I know that I shouldn't
admit to enjoying television, but hey, it's cheap entertainment,
right? I just love mindless entertainment--no thought, just
plain old fun. Here are some of my favorite shows:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Will and
Grace, ER, Friends, 7th Heaven, Touched by an Angel, Dawson's
Creek, Angel, Providence, Sex in the City, Six Feet Under, Queer as Folk,
Queer Duck, Strong Medicine, The Division, Doc and too many more
to list.

Some favorite shows that aren't around any
longer are Xena, Felicity and Rude Awakening.
Movies - Ok, here I guess I
have to put myself in the category with most other women. I do love
a good "chick flick". Why is it that we can't turn down a
good old fashioned tear jerker or romantic comedy? But, on the other
hand, give me a raw and gritty comedy or a good shoot 'em up too and
I can be just as happy. Here are some of my current favorite movies:

ET (who didn't like ET, right?), anything
with Julia Roberts, anything with Sandra Bullock, Good Will
Hunting, Charlie's Angels, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (both
versions), Bounce, Interview with the Vampire, U-571, Toy Story
1 and 2, most anything animated (I do want to be the voice of a
cartoon someday), A Star is Born, Titanic, and the list goes on
and on and on.

Music Again - While I like
playing music, I also like listening to it. I have been told that I
have very eclectic tastes. I don't think so, I just like alot of
different types of music. For instance--Swing, Latin, Gregorian
Chants, Contemporary Christian, Country, Older Rock and Roll and
Classical. DO NOT GIVE ME HEAVY METAL OF ANY KIND!!! It makes me
want to grind my teeth.

Hobbies - Believe it or not, I do have some
hobbies. First and foremost, my little Corgi kids are my biggest
hobby. I just love doing things for them. I also like to write music
and short stories. I am currently working on a screenplay, a book
and some children's stories that I might try and get published if I
think they are good enough. I am also
getting into gardening and do it yourself projects around the house.
I'm becoming quite adept with a paintbrush, hammer, nails and a
drill. Watch out HGTV! I may be asking for my own show soon.
