Hi. My name is Surrey or Narnia's Fires in the Mist. My birth mom is Sue Sebring of Narnia Kennels in Oregon. After I was born I was sold to Elaine Brower and Dr. Duprue of Artistry Corgi's and Maltese as a show dog. I was pretty good and was told that I won some of the shows. I have had 3 litters of puppies since I went to live with Elaine and her family. When I was 5 years old my Momma Elaine decided it was time that I retire from show and live out my life of leisure with a nice family. She found my new Momma Janice in Orlando, FL and I went to live with her last March. I just love my new home and my new Momma. Thank you Momma Elaine for finding me such a great new home. I think when Momma Janice got me she was really sad. She had lost her Corgi mix, Gabby a few weeks before and she had to put her daddy in a place where they could watch him all the time. At first I wasn't sure about my new home, but once I got here and saw how much my mommy loved me and wanted me to be a part of her family I fell in love with the place. At first I was lonely cuz' mommy had to work every day, but then she got me a present, my little sister, Cali. Cali and I became good friends right away. She is very small for a Corgi so I was real careful with her. We got to play and sleep together when mommy was at work, but when mommy came home she played with us in the backyard. We get lots of love and treats from mommy and we love her very much. Right before Christmas, 2000 mommy rescued a little boy Corgi named Luka. He is now our little brother. Sometimes he can be a pain the backside, but Cali and I are teaching him the right and wrong way to do things. He'll be the perfect gentlemen when we're through with him. Well, now mom has done it AGAIN! Another little furbrat for me to train. She went and got a fluffy girl named Tory in November, 2001. She is ok, but she will learn quickly that "I AM QUEEN". So far, so good. I don't like to have my picture taken too much, but when I do, mommy will put them up here for all to see. I'll try to let her take some without being such a scaredy cat. For now, this is the only picture I have. So, enjoy it and email me sometime. Use mommy's email cuz' I don't have one of my own just yet. Maybe someday. Oh yeah, check out our Corgi Buddies page to see pictures of some of our Corgi friends that come to visit. Love to all, |
